The new Zire 72 offers 32MB of RAM with 25MB of usable RAM. Talk abt l33t. Hehe. It's been about a week since I've started blogging and also close to a week since I went on my diet spree. Looks like it's working. Alot with cutting down on meals, a regular 50 situps will do my belly some good. I'm currently studying my Russian phrasebook like mad because I'm motivated by how much my brother's Russian has advanced even though it's only been 2 months he's been in Russia. Looks like I have to reclaim the throne as the better of both brothers. Hehe. I've been able to understand some words which are commonly used in an everyday Russian conversation, previously vague in my mind due to my laziness to improve the my Russian fundamentals, thinking it is not that useful. Just realised in Russia, the Russian Language is more important than food itself since it's about survival. Brother told me that one Chinese in Moscow was spared his life by the skinheads because he could tell them not to kill him and that he had a family back in China. If it was me instead of him, I'll be on the next flight home in a black bag. I even talked to Grace, my batch mate, who claims she has bad Russian since she doesn't have the initiative to learn the language when only faced with 6 years in Russia compared to the rest of her life. Well, to get through these 3 more years, I think mastering the language is a must. Never had I felt so compelled to pick up a skill and try to master it, compared to getting my driver's license which I was forced to take by my parents because they wanted me to be their chauffer. Hehe. Labour's Day coming closer. 3 days of public holidays are always welcomed. The only thing I'm complaining is that one of those days falls on a Sunday which is not replacable on Tuesday. Dammit. Off to sleep. Class as usual on Thursday nevertheless.
